I started freelancing for NME while it was still on sale in newsagents. My first piece for them was on the unbelievable music documentary 'The Great Hip Hop Hoax' from British director Jeanie Finlay. 

The full page article featured interviews from the doc's director and also its unlikely stars Billy Boyd and Gavin Bain AKA Silibil n' Brains, the two lads from Scotland who fooled the world into thinking they were the next big US rap act.

I haven't had chance to scan in a copy of the full piece yet but most of it can be read via the photo below.
