My initial commission for The Guardian fell through half way through completion. Feeling a bit deflated, I decided to rewatch one of my favourite movies, 1993's The Addams Family Values. It suddenly dawned on me that the film had reached the landmark age of 25 - the perfect opportunity to reflect on its creation.
